Job Summary
Ronalds LLP is looking to hire a Management Consultant who will act as an expert and head of the Management Consulting department.
Qualifications and Skills
- Holder of a master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Must be a member of a professional body in good standing e.g. IHRM, IIA, ICPAK or any other related body.
- Must possess a professional qualification CHRP/ CPA (K)/ ACCA/ CISA/ CFA or any other.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years work experience with at least two years’ in a supervisory role in the professional services industry preferably within the East Africa region.
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in the related field.

- Excellent marketing and networking skills.
- Highly developed communication and presentation skills.
- Great problem solving and decision making skills.
- Great analytical skills, creative and innovative.
Job Responsibilities
Client Advisory
- Provide consultancy to the firm’s clients in the area of strategic management.
- Lead the HR advisory team in providing strategic HR Management solutions the firm’s clients.
- Provide consultancy to firm’s clients in the areas of innovation and change management.
- Conduct trainings on various management areas affecting clients.
- Be in charge of client relationship management to the existing clients and ensure that those in your portfolio receive satisfactory services at all levels.
- Act as the link between the clients in your portfolio and the firm and respond to their needs promptly.
- Integrate best practices and systems into the clients’ accounting and advisory programs.
- Identify leadership development areas for clients and develop strategies to help them develop leadership abilities to achieve their business objectives.
- Understand the impact of key technological trends and workforce changes impacting clients through engagement with innovative and emerging technologies, including cloud computing, process automation and other digital strategies and advise clients accordingly.
Business Development
- Identify new opportunities for the firm and develop proposals that respond to the clients’ specific needs.
- Sell other firm’s services to existing clients through cross selling and generate more business through upselling.
- Participate in forums and networks that will eventually bring the firm business or increase market visibility.
- Work within the assigned targets to ensure the firm collectively meets the desired goals.

Team Leadership
- Participate in the talent search, interviews, head hunting and retention of the best talent for the team to offer management advisory services to clients.
- Mentor and train the assigned team members and ensure that they have the right attitude mindset and competency as an invaluable resource.
- Ensure that the execution team understands the specific requirements/ scope of all engagements before commencement and ensure that they are properly executed.
- Be in charge of quality review for all the assignments in your department to ensure that the assigned projects meet the quality standard as prescribed in the firm’s quality manual.
- Ensure that every assignment has a work plan, set high professional standards of execution and ensure that these standards are adhered to by all team members for quality control.
- Provide leadership role to the execution team in the entry, execution and completion of assignments to ensure that client expectations are met and exceeded at all times.
- Act as a professional development coach and performance manager to the junior staff members.
